Re inspection of Institution, Entrepreneurship and Impetus of Chinese Economic Growth

Abstract：
Based on the provincial panel date, the authors explored the direct and indirect effects of institution and entrepreneurship on the regional economic growth of our country. The results show， first, institutional reform and entrepreneurship not only have impact on the long-term economic growth of our country through promoting technological progress but also influence the current economic growth by affecting capital, labor, allocation efficiency of human capital; then， during 2000-2008, the influence of institutional improvement in the eastern area is mainly shown in the promotion of technological progress whereas it is shown in the enhancement of the growth factor allocation efficiency. Furthermore, the decisive impact of institution on entrepreneurship is also verified in the paper.
