Abstract:
This paper estimates the CO2 emissions in our country 30 provinces in 2000-2010.And it takes CO2 emissions, industrial emissions, industrial wastewater emissions and industrial waste generation as the evaluation of environmental quality, using spatial autocorrelation test Moran’s I index to examine various indicators of environmental quality spatial autocorrelation. On this basis, it uses spatial econometric model to study the environmental impact of population size, population structure, technological progress, industrial structure and other factors. The results showed that the effect of population size on the environmental quality indicators is positive, the effect of population structure, the proportion of urban population and household size are negative, optimize and improve the level of industrial structure and technological progress have helped to reduce emissions of various pollutants.
