Abstract:
Based on the data(from 2003 to 2014) of sports goods manufacturing industry form 22 provinces in China, this paper uses spatial econometric models to investigate spatial correlation of this industry and estimate the effect of specialization agglomeration and the main inputs on its growth. The results show that: compared with the estimation results of OLS model and SLM model, the SEM is the best appropriate model for analysis. The specialization agglomeration has a significant negative effect on the growth of this industry. Labor input is positively related to the growth, while capital has no significant effect. The shocks which related to the growth of this industry in one province will shift to the adjacent provinces and has a significant negative effect on this industry.
