Abstract:
The phenomenon of financial agglomeration within city groups is obvious and it presents non-uniformity and noncorrelation in spatial distribution. The information service oriented rather than production oriented cities tend to have higher levels of financial agglomeration. When city groups develop to a certain stage, the production center and information center will be separated, which will lead to industrial polarization. Finally the information service oriented cities will grow to be regional or higher level financial centers.
