Abstract：
This paper estimated industrial environmental efficiency through SBM, studied the nonlinear relationship between environmental efficiency and regulation by EKC model. Results show that China’s industrial environmental efficiency is still low; Central and Western EKC are all N-type, while Northeastern is inverted N-type, what’s more, the EKC stage and development trend is different between regions: Eastern and Central Region are currently in the downward phase of EKC, stepping into the second stage of rise; Western Region is still in the first rising stage, stepping into the downward trend; Northeastern Region is currently in the rising stage of inverted N-type EKC.
