Institutional Reason and Solution for Middle Classes Stress in China

Abstract:
The strong rise of middle classes is not only a basic defense line of harmonious society, but also an important characterization of developed society. The growing middle classes of China, however, face severe challenges of intense competition in employment, an high cost of living, great mental stress. The analysis of economic action shows that the institutional evolution, including the promotion of market system and educational popularization, is an important reason for middle classes’ mental stress. Proposal to release the middle classes’ mental stress is made.
