An Analysis of the Factors Influencing the Contract Selection of Farmer Professional Cooperative——Based on the Empirical Study of 98 Cooperatives in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province

Abstract With whole sample data of 98 cooperatives in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province the paper analyzes the factors influencing the cooperative’s internal contract selection by binary logistic model. The result shows that the organizational structure factor of cooperatives has a significant effects on the behavior of contracts selection; in terms of environment which the cooperatives lives in, the factors such as the external system, local resources and market characteristics have different influencing degree on contracts selection; in terms of transaction costs, both the negotiation cost and the monitoring costs are significant in affecting the contracts selection, but the effect of the information cost is not revealed.
