An Empirical Study on Assimilation Process of Urban Migrant Workers：from the Perspectives of Human Capital and Social Capital

Abstract From the perspectives of human capital and social capital, the paper builds a logit model on the basis of smaple researche of migrant workers in Shanghai. It is found that the human capital parameters represented by educational background and technical training shows a positive effect. The homphilous inter-actions among familiar migrant workers block the Assimilation process, while heterophilous inter-actions between migrant workers and urban residents tend to contribute to the process.
