Ownership Difference in Spillover Effects of Foreign Direct Investment——Based on Comparative Research of SOE and Enterprises of Other Ownership

Abstract This paper analyzes the mechanism of spillover effects of FDI and effects of FDI on enterprises of different Ownership by the panel-data of 23 manufacturing industries from 2003 to 2007. It is found that Introduction of FDI implies an obviously positive competition effects and an unobviously negative imitation effects on SOE; furthermore,constrained by its own characteristics, enterprises of other ownership mainly obtain spillover effects through competition with SOE.
