Abstract With the development of electronic commerce, buy-now price auction, as one of the online auction patterns, has become popular. Online buy-now price auction breaks time and space constraints；therefore it has been widely used in combinatorial auctions. On the basis of the two different auction rules adopted by auction websites presently, fixed buy-now price and permanent buy-now price, the authors analyzed and compared the expected revenue of sellers in the two different rules in the model of independent private valuation.
