A Research into the Factors Influencing the Urban rural Income Gap in Guangxi Province——An Empirical Analysis Based on the Panel Data from 14 Cities of Guangxi

Abstract
Narrowing the urban rural income gap is the inherent requirement of the “inclusive growth” of economy and social development. The authors used panel data of 14 cities to make an empirical study of the factors influencing the urban rural income gap in Guangxi province. The results show that urbanization progress, city biased policies, factor accumulation and industrial structure all have significant effect on urban rural income gap.
