Comments on the Agricultural Environment Policy in the process of Trade Liberalization of International Agricultural Products

Abstract In the complicated environment age of mutual reliance among globalization, sustainable development and mechanism, because of the uncertainties of the exceptional terms in GATT articles 20(b) and (g) and the defects of WTO Green Box and the spurs of national interests, the agricultural environment policy is special and different from other general environment policy in the two values of balanced free trade and environment protection. On the basis of analyzing the legislations, practices and the shortcoming of free trade of international agricultural products and agricultural environment policy, the author explores the social environment function of the agricultural multi-function theory in order to realize the win-win of free trade of international agricultural products and agricultural environment protection
