Abstract Social capital is becoming a hotspot in many fields such as sociology, economics, management and politics. The theoretical and empirical researches find that social capital can act on economic growth, social stability and enterprise development. But the researches into how social capital came into being and which factors can enhance enterprises' social capital are deficient.The author tries to find the interior and exterior factors that influence the social capital of enterprises through an empirical analysis of listed companies and help enterprises increase their social capital pertinently.
