�ؼ����� ��һ��һ·��ս��   ����ֱ��Ͷ��   ���ھ�����   �����ܼ��Ͳ�Ʒ     
Abstract�� Using the country investment data covering 188 countries from 2003 to 2015, this paper empirically examined the impact of China��s foreign direct investment on export competitiveness. The study finds that: China��s direct investment in high-income and low-income countries weakens the export competitiveness of technology-intensive products, while the impact on direct investment in medium-income countries is the opposite. A further study of the countries along The Belt and Road route and of APEC countries finds that direct investment from Chinese companies in countries along the Belt and Road route has a significantly greater impact on the promotion of direct investment than that in countries off the Belt and Road route, though direct investment in both on and off route countries is promoted by Chinese foreign direct investment. A further research by subdividing the countries supports this conclusion. In addition, direct investment from Chinese companies in APEC countries has a significantly greater impact on the promotion of export competitiveness than that in non-APEC countries.
