The Relationship of Chairman’s Overseas Education Background and Company Performance and the Medicating Role of Listed Period

Abstract This paper uses GEM listed corporation data and empirical tested the relationship of Chairman’s overseas education background and ROE of these companies, as well as the mediating role of listed period. The empirical results show that overseas education background has significant negative correlation with listed period, and significant positive correlation with ROE. Meanwhile, listed period plays a mediating role between overseas education background and ROE.
