Abstract This paper empirically studies the trade effect of CAFTA by analyzing the penal data of pollution intensive products in 17 countries from 1996 to 2010 with an expanded Gravity model in low carbon economy.The empirical results show that CAFTA has not only the significant expanding effect of trade among member countries, but also pushThe trade of pollution intensive products between member countries and non-member countries.
