Abstract This paper summarizes Ricardo’s land rent theory, and reviews the land policy which needs to be comprehensive and systematic trial validation during the reform and opening time. With Ricardo’s land rent theory, some comprehensive explanation and view of the land policy made for the profound reflection and change.
