Abstract The authors constructed a model for studying the competence of talent assessment professionals of and made an empirical research, finding that the competence of talent assessment professionals of our country consists of the three dimensions professional ethics, professional knowledge and professional skills and 17 indicators. Then the authors put forward the specific measures to strengthen the construction of training mechanism for talent assessment professionals, which involve multi-disciplinary, multi-level training model, theoretical study mechanism, multi-sector, multi-grade qualification management mode and practical training mechanisms.
