A Research into the Applicability of the “International Standard Pattern” of Industrial Structure:An Empirical Analysis of Chinese Experiences in 1952~2008——A Concurrent Explanation of “Industrial Structure Deviation”

Abstract
The authors think that the so called “international standard pattern”of industrial structure is not completely applicable to China. The international comparison of the cointegration test of Chinese industrial structure evolvement with the value of the response elasticity in 1952~2008 reveals that Chinese industrial structure evolution conforms to the general law of international standard pattern in the total development trend but has obvious particularity. The particularity of the factors affecting our country’s industrial structure evolution has caused “industrial structure deviation”in the evolvement of our country’s industrial structure evolution. When applying the “international standard pattern”of industrial structure in our country, the changes in time and conditions should be considered.
