The Progress and Orientation of the Researches into the Economic Growthof Chinese Areas Rich in Natural Resources--A Discussion Based on “Resource Curse”

Abstract The author systematically reviews the relevant research literature on the economic growth of the Chinese areas rich in natural resources from the three aspects of the existence, transmission mechanism and countermeasures of “resource curse”. Related researches have had some achievements，but due to the lack of theoretical analysis and the set error in the empirical research model and the simplification of data sample sources, they can’t provide a better understanding of and settle the problem of economic growth in the areas rich in resources. More case studies and theoretical analyses are needed to sinicize overseas research achievements
