A Measurement and Economic Analysis of the Factors Influencing the Choice Behavior of Family Fertilization--An Analytical Perspective Based on the Econometric Model of Discrete Choice

Abstract The characteristics of fertilization choice in our country are that families prefer to have fewer children, the utility advantage of boys over girls is disappearing gradually and rural families are turning from fertilization behavior to education behavior. Education and profession have the greatest influene on the choice of fertilization model. Next is age and marital status. Based on the analysis result, the author thinks that increasing education investment, eliminating the gap between income distribution and employment and establishing fair social security system will reenforce the positive effect of the family planning policy
