Abstract Based on Henan provincial conditions and expert opinions, the author constructs an evaluation index system of the development level of modern service industry in Henan province and establishes a corresponding evaluation model with factor analysis method to evaluate objectively the development level of modern service industry in Henan province. Meanwhile, the author uses related statistical data to make a quantitative analysis of the status quo of modern service industry in Henan province. Through further comparison, the author explores the gaps and their reasons and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.
