Abstract From the perspective of intra-industry trade, the author investigates the characteristics of the structure of China’s service trade. The panel data shows that the effects of financial development, which is measured by the FM or PRIV, on China’s service trade structure differ in different industries. The positive effects of financial development on industries which have more growth opportunities are obviously insufficient.
