Abstract
From the perspective of agricultural factor return, this paper carries out an empirical analysis of the realization conditions for Lewis Turning Point in China. The results show that: surplus labor, high rate of return on capital and the low total factor productivity fail to bring Lewis Turning Pointin China. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the human capital cost for farmers by governmental purchase, to provide driving force forupgrading agricultural production mode, to promote the free flow of factors of land, capital, technology and labor in agricultural production, to reduce the differences of factor return between agriculture and non-agriculture, to increase the profitability of whole factor return, to provide momentum in going beyond Lewis Turning Point, and to realize the transformation of dual economic pattern in rural and urban regions.
